Why a toolkit?
The Interaction toolkit is specifically designed for local councils to provide guidance on how to get involved in international development work and how to get the most out of this work at home and overseas.
What's in the toolkit?
The toolkit contains a range of tips on how to get started; guidelines on how best to approach and deliver international development activities; self assessment questions on how to maximise the value of international activities; a dedicated section on the benefits to UK local councils; case study examples of innovative and particularly succesful projects of UK local councils; factsheets; links to relevant external resources and self assessment questions on the different steps to ensuring successful and sustainable international development projects.
