The LG Alliance is currently planning a training programme for 2010/11 which will kick off with a training event in London on 22 September 2010.

In order to make sure that our programme suits your needs, we're asking you to complete our short survey and tell us about what type of training you want. It will only take a few minutes to respond and will help us to make sure that future workshops and online training support your work. Survey closes 26 July 2010.

The training programme is in response to a survey last year of councils and their international development activities. We received over 450 responses from over 200 councils across the UK.

When we asked how the LG Alliance could support your work, the top three areas that you named were funding advice, online information and training. In response to this, in addition to designing training, we have created new funding pages on the LG Alliance website and an online Interaction toolkit to support your international development work.
