The DEA are currently promoting their new Global Learning Charter and are looking for signatories who want to demonstrate their commitment to educating people about global issues such as poverty or climate change. The Charter is being organised by DEA, a charity that promotes education about global issues (www.dea.org.uk). The Charter is seeking a wide range of signatories: NGOs, local authorities, business, trade unions, social enterprises, media organisations, schools, universities and other education bodies, faith groups. It will be launched at a reception in parliament in the New Year and all signatory organisations will be invited. There will then be a range of activities including roundtables and practice sharing sessions to raise the profile and to share practice of the work that signatories are doing around educating about global issues.
